Throughout the year, I achieved several important milestones that influenced my development and expanded my horizons.I will discuss four significant accomplishments: my research project, making new friends, going on educational trips, and exploring the concept of robot teachers.
Research Project
Discovering Passions and Language Skills One of my most rewarding achievements was working on a research project. At first, I doubted myself and struggled with expressing my thoughts in Armenian. Surprisingly, I found that I felt more comfortable communicating in English. This realization encouraged me to explore new ways of expressing myself. Additionally, delving into the history of Armenian and Sumerian civilizations taught me a lot and sparked an interest in their connection. This project was highly educational and a major accomplishment for me.
Forming New Friendships
Becoming More Sociable This year, I had the chance to meet many new people at school and elsewhere. While some individuals were challenging to connect with, most of them became good friends. As an introvert, it can be difficult for me to make friends and be outgoing. However, I noticed a positive change in my ability to form friendships and be more social. Embracing this newfound sociability is a significant achievement for me.
Educational Trips
Exploring History Outside the Classroom Although I didn’t go on many trips this year, the ones I did take were memorable. Most of these trips were organized by my history teachers, which was perfect for me since I love history. History is not just a school subject; it’s something worth learning even as we grow older. These educational trips allowed me to delve deeper into the historical significance of the places we visited and increased my appreciation for the past.
Robot Teachers
Pondering the Future of Education One interesting topic we discussed and wrote an essay about was robot teachers. It was something I had never thought about before, and it sparked my curiosity and a bit of fear. Discussing the benefits and challenges of having robot teachers was thought-provoking. While the idea of robot teachers seemed scary at first, it opened my mind and expanded my perspective.
Reflecting on my achievements this year fills me with a sense of pride and personal growth. The research project allowed me to pursue my passions and find new ways to express myself. Making new friends boosted my social skills and confidence. Educational trips took my historical knowledge beyond the classroom. Exploring the concept of robot teachers stimulated my curiosity and broadened my horizons. Each accomplishment has played a vital role in shaping me into a more confident and well-rounded individual.
